It never ceases to amaze me the number of scams and the number of
victims that line up for a fake college degree online. Don't get me wrong, I know there are websites that sell “novelty” degrees
to hang on your wall to impress friends and family. Some of these sites make it completely clear that they are offering nothing
more than a nice looking diploma and transcript. If that's what you want and you know what you're getting, fine, that's your
business. But, there are too many professional rip-off artists that prey and pounce on unwary victims that are innocently looking
for an education—but end up with nothing more than a fake degree and a broken dream.
Fake college degrees are not always as easy to spot as
one would believe. Not every prospective student knows about accreditation. And, accreditation in the United States is not always
so easy to understand. In the US we have regional accrediting agencies the set a very high standard of quality, but there are
many other quite reputable accrediting organizations—but, unfortunately, far too many fly by night organizations.
Still, verifying that an online university is properly accredited should be one of the first steps in
the process of selecting a reputable distance learning degree program. It's not the only factor, of course, but it is absolutely
essential if you wish to avoid ending up with a worthless, fake college degree.
With the advent of the Internet, fake college degree online scams have increased dramatically. New
online colleges and universities seem to open up daily with one mission and one mission only, to cash in on unsuspecting degree
seekers who want only to improve their lives and career prospects.
But don't despair, there are many reputable online colleges offering a real opportunity to obtain a
real College Degree at Home. A fake college degree
online will cause you nothing but heartaches. If your goal is to enhance your career prospects in all likelihood you'll never
achieve your objective and your degree will not be acceptable to prospective employers. Earning a fake college degree can cost
you not only a lot of time and money, but the loss of your reputation as well—and that is something not so easily
restored.
Truly, such fake college degrees, online or offline, are not worth the paper they are written on, are
they?
They good news is that you have now been enlightened and I have some more good news for you too, there
are hundreds of reputable and fully accredited online
colleges in the United States and throughout the world. Many of these distance learning
universities, for example, Phoenix Online
University , offers nearly every course and academic discipline imaginable, while other programs such
as Concord Law School specializes in offering an online law degree and the opportunity to become a practicing lawyer.
Final word: There are too may reputable and prestigious online colleges and universities. Save your time
and money and avoid being the victim of a fake college degree.
