demanding in Hungarian High Schools. The one-year Basic Medicine program is recommended for those applicants who do not have
thorough enough knowledge in biology, physics and chemistry or in any of these subjects according to Hungarian standards, and
need further studies and a period for acclimatization before entering the General Medicine program. In addition to these Basic
scientific subjects, courses in professional English and Hungarian languages are also included in the program. Students
successfully finishing the Basic European Medical Schools program are directly admitted into the General Medicine
